Title: Mediated Learning Strategies in Families with Children with Disabilities: A Literature Review
Abstract: The purpose of this literature review is to identify patterns and to discuss key perspectives from empirical studies published from 2000 until 2021 that explore mediated learning strategies in families with children with disabilities. An inductive thematic analysis resulted in four key perspectives: (1) mediator's gender, attitudes, and knowledge, (2) home environment and cultural considerations, (3) activities and evaluation tools, and (4) mediation with toddlers for enhancing language development. Overall, this study revealed (1) a lack of peer-reviewed articles that discuss, investigate, examine, or debate the Mediated Learning Experience with children with disabilities in home environments; (2) a limited emphasis on the father's role as mediator; (3) the need for considering cultural aspects, and (4) the importance of using mediation in free play and everyday situations. Based on the findings, new lines of future research are suggested.

Title: Strategie di apprendimento mediato in famiglie aventi bambini con disabilità: una rivista della letteratura esistente
Abstract: Lo scopo della presente revisione della letteratura esistente è identificare i modelli e discutere le prospettive chiave che esplorano le strategie di apprendimento mediato nelle famiglie con bambini con disabilità, analizzando studi empirici pubblicati dal 2000 al 2021. Un'analisi tematica induttiva ha portato a quattro prospettive chiave: (1) genere, atteggiamenti e conoscenze del mediatore, (2) ambiente domestico e considerazioni culturali, (3) attività e strumenti di valutazione e (4) mediazione con i bambini piccoli per migliorare lo sviluppo del linguaggio. Nel complesso, questo studio ha rivelato (1) una mancanza di articoli che discutano, indaghino ed esaminino l'esperienza di apprendimento mediato con bambini con disabilità in famiglia; (2) una presentazione insufficiente del ruolo del padre come mediatore; (3) la necessità di considerare gli aspetti culturali e (4) l'importanza di utilizzare la mediazione nel gioco libero e nelle situazioni quotidiane. Sulla base dei risultati, vengono suggerite nuove linee di ricerca futura.

Title: Stratégies d'apprentissage médiatisées dans les familles handicapées: une revue de la littérature
Abstract: Le but de cette revue de la littérature est d'identifier les modèles et de discuter des perspectives clés des études empiriques publiées de 2000 à 2021 qui explorent les stratégies d'apprentissage médiatisées dans les familles handicapées.Une analyse thématique inductive a abouti à quatre perspectives clés: (1) le genre, les attitudes et les connaissances du médiateur, (2) l'environnement domestique et les considérations culturelles, (3) les activités et les outils d'évaluation, et (4) la médiation avec les tout-petits pour améliorer le développement du langage.Dans l'ensemble, cette étude a révélé (1) un manque d'articles évalués par les pairs qui discutent, enquêtent, examinent ou débattent de l'expérience d'apprentissage médiée avec les enfants handicapés dans les environnements domestiques;(2) un accent limité sur le rôle du père en tant que médiateur;(3) la nécessité de considérer les aspects culturels, et (4) l'importance d'utiliser la médiation dans le jeu libre et les situations quotidiennes.Sur la base des résultats, de nouvelles lignes de recherche future sont suggérées. Title: Estrategias de Aprendizaje Mediado en Familias con Niños con Discapacidades: Una Revisión de la Literatura
Abstract: El propósito de esta revisión de la literatura es identificar patrones y discutir perspectivas clave a partir de estudios empíricos publicados desde el año 2000 hasta el 2021 que exploran estrategias de aprendizaje mediado en familias con niños con discapacidades. Un análisis temático inductivo resultó en cuatro perspectivas clave: (1) género del mediador, actitudes y conocimientos, (2) entorno doméstico y consideraciones culturales, (3) actividades e instrumentos de evaluación, y (4) mediación con niños pequeños para mejorar el desarrollo del lenguaje. En general, este estudio reveló (1) una falta de artículos revisados por pares que discutan, investiguen, examinen o debatan la Experiencia de Aprendizaje Mediado con niños con discapacidades en entornos domésticos; (2) un énfasis limitado en el papel del padre como mediador; (3) la necesidad de considerar aspectos culturales, y (4) la importancia de utilizar la mediación en el juego libre y situaciones cotidianas. Basado en los hallazgos, se sugieren nuevas líneas de investigación futura.
